My school project disappeared after adding a 3d warehouse item

My whole model disappeared yet the entities show up. I tried zoom extents but that didn’t work. I found other forums that suggested using the outliner to delete the bugging components, but I do not have it. Can someone please use their full version to help me out? This is for a school project - the coffee mugs and blood splatter components were the most recent ones CrimeScene.skp (2.3 MB) I added that bugged out. Your problem was 592 texts. I deleted them (they was very big…) and zoomed extend.

You have multiple copies of a group spread out at a huge distance.
Use ctrl+a to select all, then shift select to deselect what is at the origin, try Zoom Extents, if it doesn’t work repeat until it does.
As you see here it took 3 goes to get there.

Hi Hit Ctrl+A to select everything in the model and then use Zoom Selection and the model appeared. I also did my usual cleanup procedure. First I fixed incorrect tag usage.

Then I purged unused stuff from the file. There’s really no need to be hoarding all those components and materials.

Then I looked at the remaining materials and reduced the size of the excessively large ones.

That resulted in about 82% file size reduction. More could be done such as removing the page borders and other unneded geometry from the CAD import.
I’ll come back with the link once I’ve uploaded.
