Model Clipping (Camera Array)

Good Afternoon - we’re having issues with model clipping in SketchUp 2018 Pro. The skateboarder that you see is the target of our camera array starts to lose portions of it’s extents as cameras/scenes are created. Model attached. Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I do not see a skateboarder…

Did you mean to atach a file/image?

Hey Aaron - I attempted to upload the SketchUp file but apparently it did not attach. Should be included with this reply. Let me know if it is still not attached. Thanks for the quick reply.

No idea why the .skp file won’t upload when I select the file using the ‘Upload’ button or when I drag + drop

Probably too big. Is it over the 3Mb limit?

Looks like typical clipping as seen when the model is quite large and the camera is too close or when the model is at a great distance from the Origin. Search for Clipping to see numerous threads on the topic.

Hi @charliev,

You may attach a file by clicking the upload arrow (7th icon from the left at the top of the Reply window)
and follow the on screen directions to submit your material. If the file is larger than the maximum size of 3 mb, use a file sharing service such as Google Drive or Dropbox and include the appropriate url with your post to locate the file.

Here are a few links to address the clipping issue.

Good luck

Thanks for the replies. Just joined so I was unfamiliar with the 3mb limitation. I read through the Clipping threads and found the section where it was suggested that deleting the frustrum lines & volumes solved the issue. This did in fact work for us. Is there an easy way to prohibit those from being imported when one creates a new camera? Really appreciate the help.
