What problem? You can’t open your file? Are you just reporting that as information or do you want help rying to solve it. If the latter, share the SketchUp file with us so we can see what you’ve got.
Also, what version of SketchUp are you using? Your profile says SketchUp Free 2023. There is no such version. Or are you using a cracked version?
I can´t open this file. Can someone help me?
Não consigo abrir esse arquivo. Alguém pode me ajudar? Ele tem 524MB só consigo enviar por link. Obrigada!
I need help, the file does not open, this error message appears and the backup was not active this model failed file integrity checks and cannot be opened sketchup.
There’s a lot of missing data. Where were you saving the file while working on it? Have you tried opening the .skb backup copy? Did you by any chance also save the file to your Trimble Connect storage, too?
That’s unfortunate. Maybe @colin will manage to get something from your file but I guess I wouldn’t hold my breath. It it’s a model you need, you might as well get started redoing it. Enable SketchUp to create backups and periodically also save to your Trimble Connect storage so you have an additional backup.
It’s a very large model Dave, more than 3 days of work have already been done, I’ve just activated the back and I’ll start saving in Trimble Connect too, I hope Colin can help me
Your profile says you are using “Free Plan” of 2023. Does that mean you are using a cracked version?
Where have you been saving the files while working on them? The first file you shared is almost nothing but zeroes and there is nothing to recover. The other file is missing a large chunk of data and I couldn’t do anything with it.
I’ve investigated both of your files. They are missing important data. Where have you been saving the file while working on it? To an external drive? Or a network drive?
It may be that @colin can recover something if he has time to look in. In the meantime I would suggest getting started rebuilding the model. Your profile indicates you are using SketchUp 2023 with a Pro subscription. You would have unlimited storage on Trimble Connect. When you start a new file save it on the internal drive and also save it to your Trimble Connect storage so you have a backup. Each time you save save both locally and to Trimble Connect.
That seems to be a common reason for corrupted files. Best practice is to save to the internal drive while you are working on the file. If you need to put it on an external drive, copy it from the internal location with File Explorer. If you need to work on the file again, copy it from the external drive to a folder on the internal drive.
If you need to access the file from a different computer you can do so via Trimble Connect and skip copying it to the external drive. Again, save both to the internal drive and to your Trimble Connect storage.
