I am operating a legal, personally purchased, perpetual licences version of SketchUp Pro 2018 on my MacBook Air M2. I have purchased a new MacBook Air M5 operating the same operating system as the M2, have installed SketchUp pro 2018 on the MacBook Air M5 which works perfectly with a 30 day trial License. I have removed SketchUp pro 2018 from the MacBook Air two, and the moment I try to enter the license serial number and activation code into the license registration block on SketchUp pro, SketchUp claims the computer is not linked to the Internet, when in fact it is very much linked to the Internet. Sketcher pro works perfectly on both computers but I’m unable to enter license serial number and activation code. Response from SketchUp simply is no response other than a typical we don’t care response catch up is blocking the entrance of a new licensing information in order to get past users to subscribe to the new subscription software. I am able to reinstall SketchUp pro onto my MacBook Air M2 with the same serial number and activation code, which is accepted by SketchUp and then works perfectly. Does anyone else have the same issue and are there any work on available?
You can solve the problem of SketchUp thinks you’re not on the Internet, by reading this post I made nearly five years ago:
