Unsuccesfull in installing 2018 on new Lenovo

Hello to all, I am new to this forum (in fact to all forums).
I am unsuccesfully trying for hours to install version 2018 on my new laptop.
I got all my Licensing information, bought this version un 2018 and use it from time to time.
After installing / uninstalling / installing etc, time after time I get the message “Your SketchUp Pro Trial has expired”, strange since I used it not so long ago on my old device.
“Add License” does not help, I get the message "Bummer, It looks like you’re offline. You must be online to add or remove SketchUp licenses. Please try again next time you are online."
But I am connected to the net … What can I do to works with was is factually my license?

Read this post that I did a little over five years ago:

Thanks Colin for bringing a little comfort by knowing I am not alone…
If anyone could guide me to a solution, it seems that more people would be glad.
FYI Gemini consult was not succesfull (yet)

The link in the post above leads directly to the guide itself; you don’t need to ask the artificial idiots separately.
