The lagging issue was fixed by

remove the Spacemouse
s plugin called " 3DxSketchup" via Sketchup
s extension manager -
uninstalling 3Dconnexion Spacemouse driver and firmware

complete cleanup of 3Dconnexion, as advised by the 3Dconnxion support team:
a. Close any application that uses the 3Dconnexion driver. This will prevent any conflicts during the cleanup process.
b. Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming. Look for a folder named “3Dconnexion” and delete it.
c. Go to C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local and delete the “3Dconnexion” folder found here as well.
d. Before proceeding with the next steps, it’s recommended to make a backup of the registry. You can find instructions on how to backup the registry on Microsoft’s website: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/322756/how-to-back-up-and-restore-the-registry-in-windows
e. Click the “Start” button and type “regedit” in the search box. Hit “Enter” to open the Registry Editor. In the Registry Editor, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software and look for the “3Dconnexion” folder. Right-click on it and select “Delete” to remove it.
f. Close the Registry Editor.
g. Restart your machine to ensure that all changes are applied -

Reinstall the current 3Dconnexion driver. You can download the latest version from the 3Dconnexion website. Follow the prompts to install the driver on your system.
