SketchUp for Schools Login Changes for G Suite Users

Hello, please can you add watfordstjohns.org to the allow list they are a school with a .org address, thank you.

Please can we have an update on this, thank you. Still getting the same message the school really want to use this, thank you.

Hello. Would you mind to whitelist our school domain? sapostol.com
Thank you

Sorry for the late reply @richardhfl. I was traveling last week and caught something on the plane ride home and had to spend most of the week in bed recovering. I was able to find everything I needed on the site you linked in your post so thanks for doing that! I’ll have you added to the database in the next few minutes so feel free to start deploying the app. Just make sure not to skip steps as that can cause issues that might not appear right away.

As for you @JTudela, I was also able to find everything I needed on your website and get you added too. Again, just make sure that you don’t skip any steps as you deploy the app as that can cause issues later on.

Thank you.
How many time I have to wait for the access? I’ve tried after 5 hours and I cannot acces with the following message:
"Are you in the correct place?
SketchUp for Schools is once again available for educational use only. Don’t worry, all the projects you’ve created through your personal Gmail or Microsoft account can still be downloaded from your Google Drive or OneDrive. To continue drawing, sign in with an EDU domain account.
Make sure that:
-You are using a G Suite for Education account.
-Your G Suite administrator has installed SketchUp for Schools on your domain and has granted permissions.
If you have any questions, contact us on the SketchUp for Schools forum."

Our school account doesn’t contain “.edu” word in the domain. So, are we allowed to use it?

Thanks a lot again.

Hi again @JTudela. You are indeed allowed to use the app and you should have been all set to deploy it. Did you follow all the instructions outlined in the deployment process? Missing a step can cause this issue sometimes. I’ll double check things on my end though just to be sure that everything is set correctly and update this post in a few minutes with any information I can find.

Update 2/15/2023 10:00 MST
I just finished running a search in our database and you are definitely in there and I have all the permissions set correctly for access on our end. Based on the available data I am not able to 100% say what the issue is but my best guess is still a missed step in the deployment process. After you verify your deployment process is correct, can you let me know if you are still seeing the issue?

Hello.
I’ve checked the correct runing for the students account and it do work ok, but not mine. I received the same message than before:
"Are you in the correct place?

Is there any instructions for the deployment process? I’ve not founded it.
Thank you for all.

Hi @JTudela thanks for the reply. That is quite odd that the students would have access and you would not. Can you verify that you are on the same domain as the students? If you are on a different domain than I might need to adjust a few settings on our end and make sure that specific domain has permission to access everything.

If you don’t have a different domain, just go through the steps outlined in the video here to make sure you didn’t skip anything:

Hi there, I thought you had already added our domain to the whitelist, but we’re still unable to sign in with google. Can you please add: acsdvt.org
Thanks!

Hello.
Thanks a lot for your help. I had disabled the “popups”. After viewing the video I’ve fixed it and it definitely works.

Thank you again.
Have a good day.

hi i’m a newbie

Can you please whitelist @icsfermi.it?

We are a Italy school.

Thank you.

Hi @mario.buonvino thanks for the post and welcome to the forums. While your post lacked a website link I was still able to locate your site and get the information I needed to get you added to the database. You are all set to deploy the app. Just make sure not to skip any steps as that will cause issues later on. In case you need a refresher on deployment instructions, I have linked a video here that has all the steps outlined.

We are a school located in Spain. Our students are encountering difficulties signing into Sketchup for Schools on their Chromebooks. Could you please add in the whitelist @laudenewtoncollege.com

Thank you for your assistance!

Hi @NewtonCollege thnaks for the post and welcome to the SketchUp forums. I have added you to our database of domains so you should be all set to go! Just make sure you don’t skip any steps as you deploy the app as that can cause issues similar to what you are currently experiencing. In case you need the instructions on deploying the app, you can find them in my previous posts in this thread.

Can you please add hermitagesd.net to the whitelist. Thank you

Thanks for the post @jeannette_anderson and thanks for including a link to your website in it too as that makes it a lot easier for me to locate everything I need. I was able to find everything I needed and get you added to the database. By the time this post is live you will be all set to deploy the app if you have not already done so. Just make surre not to skip any steps as that will cause issues later on.
