Can you please add my domain, ndmu.edu.ph? We can’t use sketchup it continues to have an authentication loop.

Hi @gjintula, thanks for the post. I am happy to work with you to get you added to the database of approved domains but I need to verify a few things first. Most importantly, I need to verify if you are a higher education school or not. Can you tell me that?
Also, a link to a school or district website would be helpful but that is not required.

Ah, thanks for the fast reply @gjintula. Unfortunately, SketchUp for Schools is only for non-higher education use. Specifically, it is for k-12 schools or other local equivalents. If your students need access to SketchUp they can always use the free version of SketchUp we offer or get a educational license. I personally would recommend the educational license as that will allow users to do work offline and run extensions. Both of these are well worth the price in my workflows. I will fully admit though, as a member of the SketchUp team I have a bias.

By the time this post is live, you will be all set to deploy tha app if you have not already done so. just make sure that you don’t skip any steps as you deploy the app as that can cause issues later on.
If you are still seeing issues, let me know and we can start troubleshooting to get you up and running right away.
Thank you! It seems we still are still getting the error. I just need to double check that ellingtonschools-net is whitelisted, not ellingtonpublicschools-org. (Please add periods where the hyphens are, I got flagged as spam for some reason during my last attempt to reply).

Hi @tkindall and @nganeles, thanks for the posts. I’ll address you both in a single post so just look for your username for the part most relevant to you.
I’ll start off with you nganeles. As you included the domain you want added and I can verify you are a k-12 school via your website, I can add you to the database right now. By the time this post is live you are all set to deploy the app if you have not already done so. Just make sure not to skip any steps as that can cause issues later on.
As for you tkindall, figuring out what the issue is may take a few tries but we will keep at it until we get an answer. I already checked and made sure that there are no typos in the domain and that the correct one was added. To help figure out what the issue is I have to ask a few questions. First question, is the issue present on all user accounts? Also, can you please make sure you deployed the app via a super admin?
@CaseyG, I am also getting the authentication look. I am in a K12 public school district in NC (fcschools.net). What other information do you need to add my district to your database?

Also, it would be appreciated if you could make this potentially required step more clear on your public installation and informational pages. My team and I were spinning our wheels on this for a while trying to figure out why it wasn’t working after whitelisting the app in our Google admin console.

@Alley-TechGirl, @jstephens and @dcao . As you all included your domains and links to your websites I was able to manually verify that you are k-12 schools or districts. As a result I was able to add you to the database without issue. You should be all set to deploy the app if you have not done so already. Just make sure not to skip any steps as you deploy the app as that can cause issues later on. Also, make sure to deploy the app via a super admin if you are a google user as failure to do so can cause issues too.
For future users that see this post, please make sure to include your domain and verify that you are a k-12 school, district or equivalent in your initial post. Also, a link to your website if you have one is appreciated, but is not required.

Can we not just put SketchUp for Schools in the Google Allowlist? The app is being used by just a few classes, so I’d rather avoid a district-wide install.
Updating my post: yes, an admin install is necessary, but it can be scoped to Groups or OUs.
