Hello. I use SketchUp on my iPad in Korea for modeling, but the object outline edges are too thick. Even when I turn off Profiles, the lines are still too thick, so when I zoom out a little, thin objects get hidden by the lines.
If I turn off the edge lines completely, it becomes difficult to connect objects together, which makes working very inconvenient.
Could you please allow us to adjust the thickness of the edges so they can be made thinner? That would make working so much more enjoyable.

While you cannot adjust the thickness of all edges on iPad (or desktop/web), you are able to adjust the thickness of profiles. See screenshot below. If you post or direct message me a screenshot of the issue you’re having I’d be happy to see if I can help further.

The new measurement box lacks the semicolon key, which is used to separate coordinates. Was this a massive oversight, or am I missing something?

Interesting thing, the lower left key in the number pad is your current item separator. If you use , it will be a , - if you use ; it will be ;
But, I see that isn’t quite how it is in 8.2. I will tell the team.
One thing, if you do use that , button when using ; as the separator, it does seem to work.
Hello, No it does not work (coma as separator). The only workaround I found is to use the new pencil input of the measurement box to draw semicolons in between coordinates.

Our team is experience breaking usability issues with the new iPadOS app. We have ca. 14 colleagues using SketchUp on iPadOS that are currently reporting several issues.

When drawing a line, we used to be able to click on the length and adjust the measurements. This is not working properly. Clicking the “Length” input box with an Apple Pencil draws a line towards the input box instead. It seems like Apple Pencil is drawing OVER the measurement box instead of selecting numbers / keys.

Item separator is shown as comma but measurements are normally entered with semicolon (e.g. 5,0cm; 6,0cm). The dimensions are no longer updating when using the comma separator (lower left key). We don’t have keyboards attached to we can’t type the semicolon and the dimensions are not saved. We are using the Dutch/Belgian locale (region Belgium). This is a breaking issue.
Is there a way for us to revert to the last working version?

FYI - When switching the iPad Region to USA, this seems to fix the measurements updating (e.g. 5.0cm,6.0cm). However, this is not an ideal situation as this requires a different way of inputting numbers (we use comma for decimal separators and not periods)
Will communicate this temporary workaround until an update is available from your side.

Hello @ifirma, sorry to hear about the issues with the meaurements box. We’ve identified why this isn’t working correctly and will have a patch release out to fix shortly. Our patch fixes the issue by correctly respecting device region settings to display and recognize regional number separator and decimal characters for global regions. Once installed, the numpad will display the correct keys depending on region.
Additionally, in the patch we are reverting the pencil input back to how it functioned in the original measurements box because, as you pointed out, enabling pencil scribbles for the measurements box caused too many issues with text selection.
I’ll post here as soon the patch goes live on the App Store. Sorry again for any inconvenience these issues have caused you and others, and a heartfelt thank you for reaching out and letting us know what wasn’t working for you so we can address it.
@martin.nambaje we’re working on a fix to this issue and will have a new version of the app published shortly to address this. In short, the next iPad patch (8.2.1) will fix the number separator issue for your region and will disable pencil scribble inputs for the measurement box.
