Hi @SergioCarrasco, thanks for the post. I am glad to hear you have been successfully using SketchUp for some time now and am sorry to hear that it stopped working all of the sudden.
I am able to get you added to our database but I need to confirm that you are only using SketchUp for Schools for k-12 students. Your website is in a language I don’t speak and Google Translate is somewhat unreliable in my past experiences with it so I have to ask you directly. Are you a higher education school or are you serving k-12 students? Just a simple yes or no is all I need from you and once I have that I can confirm your qualifications and get you added to the database.
Great! I’ll get you added to our domain database right now. You will be all set to deploy the app by the time this post is live, assuming you have not already done so. Just don’t skip any steps as you deploy the app as that can cause issues later on.
Hopefully that is all you need to do to get up and running, but if you have any questions or run into any additional issues please feel free to start a new thread or message me directly.
Hi Guys, can you please whitelist our school domains: @premiertutors.com and @student.premiertutors.com. Please note that we are registered with GSuite for Education and have the .edu.au domain endeavoureducation.edu.au redirecting to premiertutors.com
Hello, i would like you to allow our Primary School domain os-zagradec.si for the use of Sketchup for Schools.
Our domain is registered at Microsoft 365 for Education.
Thank, you.
I’ll start off by addressing you @Profich. If you are running Microsoft, you technically should not need to be added to the database as they handle things a little differently than google but I’ll add you anyway just to make sure that there are no issues on our end. You linked your domain and site so I have everything I need to get it done. By the time this post is live you will be all set to deploy the app. Just make sure not to skip any steps as that can cause issues later on.
As for you @pbpremiertutors, we may have an issue if you are a for profit service. Can you confirm if you are a for profit service or not? Once I know that I can confirm if you qualify or not and we can figure out next steps. I am fairly certain I know the answer you are going to share but with our database we have to be 100% sure before we can make any additions to it.
Hello, thank you for your answer. The thing is we can now use the Sketchup for Schools, but we would like to perform the action that would give us the access to the aplication Sketchup Education online without 2FA authentification (it is persisting with the demand to enter mobile phone number of the user). Is that a Microsoft thing?
Thanks for the reply @Profich. I am not sure but I’ll ask the rest of the team and get you an answer as soon as I can. Our Microsoft expert is in a meeting at the moment so it might be a little while before I can get an answer for you.
In the meantime, can you let me know if you are running any add ons or classroom management tools on top of the Microsoft systems? Knowing that might be necessary for us to find a solution so getting that info for us sooner will expedite things later on if we need it. If you are not comfortable posting that info on a public forum please feel free to send it to me via a private message instead.
Hi again @Profich, I just confirmed with the team that we didn’t change anything to require a phone number on our end so it is definitely something you have enabled on your Microsoft settings.
Unfortunately, that means that it falls outside our area of expertise and you would need to talk to someone else about it and I wouldn’t know who to recommend you start talking to. It might be a setting you can adjust or it could be a district wide setting. There is no way to tell on our end. I wish there was more I could do on my end to get you up and running.
Hi @FStrej, thanks for the post. I am happy to get you added to our database but if you are using Microsoft, you should not need to be added as it handles authentication a bit differently. All you should need to do is deploy the app.
If you want to be added to the database, I will need a website link from you and a confirmation that you are a k-12 school or district so I can fill in all the info needed for the database. Just let me know those and I will get it done as soon as possible.
In the meantime, I’ll link deployment instructions here so you can try redeploying the app to see if it solves your issue.
Hi again @FStrej, you are now officially in our database so I can rule that out as a potential cause. Go ahead and try re-deploying the app and see if that helps at all. Once you have done that please let me know if you are still seeing the error. If you are still seeing the error, then we may need to do some additional troubleshooting although it may be a while before we can get that done given that next Monday is a holiday in the United States and we are based out of the Colorado office.
Hi everyone, thanks for the posts. I’ll do my best to address everyone all at once here.
First up, I’ll address you @lrichardson and @Chris-K. It took some work but I was able to locate everything I needed to get you added to our database and have done so. You should be all set to deploy the app now if you have not already done so. Just make sure you don’t skip any steps as that can cause issues similar to what you are currently seeing.
As for you @jcarles8 I was not acle to locate everything I needed to get you added to the database. Can you please link me to your official website if you have one and let me know just the domain(s) you need added to the database? No need to include user names. Also can you please verify that you are a k-12 school or equivalent? Once I have that I am able to get you added right away.
Also, for future reference for everyone, Steve_Ketcup is no longer active on these forums so please @ me instead.
