I ummed and ahed about the k.
Thought I would pop this in here, its a method for helping control bezier curves. Similar to how I worked out the geometry for the roving bridge I posted earlier.
It might be over size, weāll see, it may fail or disappear.

Was having a bit of a fiddle with Beziers and then took advantage of z-fighting to create an interesting surface render.

How did you take advantage of Z-fighting?

The blue and red āpatternā over the whole shape is z-fighting. It is two identical shapes flipped, you can see the gold bit goes the other way. Each has a different flat material, simple SU materials. So twilight is rendering what it sees, not choosing one or the other but creating a pattern.

Made a rough first draft of a wheel, clunky and slow but figured I would throw it in here anyway.
The tyre profile is way off and the cut outs in the alloys are not symmetrical, but it shows the idea Iām working toward.

During my first internship in and architecture firm, they had one of those in the conference room. and as an intern, unless the room was needed for a client meeting, I often worked there (simpler to unfold the ābedsheetsā and see all the corrections I had to do.
I was playing with it all the time. after a few days, I arrived to find it taped (painterās tape, the cheap yellow one) with a note "donāt you dare

Create a new thread so that more people can see and respond to your request.
Attach your model to That thread. Either upload it directly using the upload icon at the top of the message box if it is less than 16mb or if larger upload it to Dropbox or similar and paste a link to it in the thread.
I donāt download large files due to limited internet.
