Orgelf's works

A project I did this summer.

I regularly play a game called Guild Wars 2. I’m going to make a personal version of one of my characters, a necromancer. He will have two weapons, a torch and a sacrificial knife, as well as a sidekick which will be a kind of machine gun on legs “in the style” of Cronenberg.

Today the torch.

Hi everyone, here is the final of the very personal version of my Guild Wars 2 necromancer. It was modeled with Sketchup, Blender and Zbrush. Render Cycles.
The skeleton was retrieved from the net then articulated, posed in Blender and reworked in Zbrush. His sidekick is a snail by the sweet name of Snelly. She carries rockets on her back. In the presence of danger, the rockets fly away and land next to the enemy. Tiny warriors of the night, the tinynjas come out and settle an unwelcome score.
On the back of the necro is the flayed remains of Night who wears the crown.

Some of the detail and these works are fantastic. Are you able, or trying, to monetize your work?

Yes, I worked for an interior architect once , as a self-employed person but I didn’t like it even if it was well paid.
Actually I think that my works are too personal if I want to earn money with it. And I prefer my actual jobs , school supervisor and security agent which allow me to work my 2d and 3d during the service, on Ipad with Procreate and Nomad.

ok, good then apparently it has all worked out! Congrats. It’s good stuff!

I’m taking advantage of Nuit Blanche to post the first part of my cathedral’s finale. My personal version of Notre Dame de Paris.
This first part focuses on the entry/exit of the site. Archangel Gabriel, reclining, is oriented differently depending on whether visitors are arriving or departing.
The blue statues represent Creation, real or phantasmagorical.
The three large statues represent an infernal trinity whose role is to scare believers/tourists so that they do not see the cathedral or enter it.

Second part of my cathedral.
Available on the dedicated site at this address Sol - NOTRE DAME de PARIS par Orgelf
The images are available in large size on this link NotreDameSol

The 3 writings on the front doors are 3 Ave Maria calligraphies that I made. they are visible on this link l'Ave Maria - NOTRE DAME de PARIS par Orgelf
Surrounding the building are 12 sculptures of demons attacking the cathedral. This one is defended by 12 illustrations tracing the life of the Virgin.
At the back, there is a bust of a pregnant woman.
This cathedral is dedicated to the Virgin and Saint Geneviève. Two colors represent them, on the outside the blue of water for Saint Geneviève, on the inside the organic red of a matrix for the Virgin.

My last work , “The ballad of the chains” inspired by the universe of Hellraiser. The character is a demon announcing the arrival of the Cenobite monks.
Made from, among other things, two Makehuman RC1 meshes, and a ManuelBastioniLAB (Blender) mesh. The hurdy-gurdy was modeled in Sketchup. Render Cycles.

Amazing stuff.
I hope I get to see something like this in VR one day…it would be mind blowing walking around inside your creations.

You’re like Antoni Gaudí and Heironymus Bosch combined. Are they ancestors of yours?

bonkers. In a good way!!
