Keep getting "Are you in the right place?" error

Students can’t login to sketchup via our gsuite app launcher. The shortcut disapeared and and now we are all getting this error, “Are you in the right place?”. Keeps showing a button, Sign in as then my email address. When clicked, the google sketchup logo loads but then after 15-20 seconds it goes back to the same screen.

Our domain is: arden.solihull.sch.uk. Does it need whitelisting on your side or something?

Please advise what should we do.

We are having the same issue. Our domain is cr.k12.de.us

Same issue for our district. Domains are *.3villagecsd.org

Hi everyone, if you are getting the “are you in the right place?” message, you are in the right place to get that resolved! I am happy to work with you to get you added to our database of approved domains. I just need to know a few things.

Specifically, I need to know if you are a k-12 school or if you are a higher education school. I also need to know the domain you want me to add. Finally, if you have a school or district website I would love to know that too although this one is optional.

Anyway, I’ll start the process with the domains all of you already listed and await a reply with what I need from you.

Hi CaseyG, we are a secondary school in the UK, covering students from year 7 to year 13.
I have already posted our domain details and you can access our website via the same address on a browser.
Thanks

Help! All of my students are getting this error as well. We are a 7-12 independent school in Los Angeles. Here is our school’s web address: https://www.windwardschool.org/

Could you try now?

It’s working for us now, thanks colin!

Hi everyone. Just wanted to circle back aroundon this thread and see if anyone is still seeing the issue. Please use the @ command to make sure I see the post as soon as possible if you arestill seeing the error.

Hi CaseyG,

We are having a the same issue here, our domians are @coopacademies.co.uk @coopbebington.co.uk

Can you white list these domains, we are a high school in the UK Year 7 - 13,

Thanks,
Matt

Thanks for the info @Matthew.mulot. As you included your domains and verification that you are a k-12 school or equivalent, I was able to get you added right away. It makes my job a lot faster when everything is included in a single post, so thanks for that.

I just finished getting you added to our database so you are all set to go! Just deploy the app if you have not already done so and you will be up and running! Don’t skip any steps in the deployment proces though as that can cause issues later on.

If you are still seeing issues, let me know what you are seeing and we can work to find a solution right away.

Hi CaseyG, Thank you for your help but we are still having the issue.

We use the web version as we are a chrome school and it does work for most students and staff but there are still at least a handfull who still get the same error message. Just a little confused on why it maybe affecting a select few.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
Matt

Ah, thanks for etting me know @Matthew.mulot. If it is not affecting everyone I am guessing that it is a student account level setting rather than a domain issue. My first guess is that students may have inadvertently changed some settings on their account. Maybe they blocked popups from the site or cookies. It is worth checking those settings to make sure that they are allowed for our site.

If you want to confirm what the issue is, you can access developer mode in the browser when you load the app. It should give you an error message that will point me in the right direction if you can share it with me.
