I cannot sign into sketchup pro from within the program

Hi, a quick search in the forum gave me this result

Auth token cannot be used - the user must sign in

If you see this message, it is best to Sign out through the Help menu, then sign back in (same Help menu) The Welcome screen uses the (corrupted) token, probably, and so it get’s stuck. The error message could be more specific.

don’t go to the Sketchup menu but to the Help menu, sign off and then in again.

if it doesn’t help, you need to delete that :

Their reply was right after Mike had given this file path: ~/Library/Application Support/SketchUp 2022/login_session.dat If you switch to Finder, then choose Go to Folder… from the Go menu, paste in that path, and delete the file that you are taken to. Then reopen SketchUp.
