Drape doesn't work at all

I can’t get sandbox drape to work. I select the face directly above the dome the choose sandbox drape then highlight the dome then click the mouse and nothing at all happens. What should I do?

Attach your model so we can check.
My first guess would be the geometry is too small. Scale up by 100 and try.

Here’s an example using what is known as The Dave Method, where I scaled a component copy up because the mouse sized version failed to drape correctly.
