I am trying to get the ViewSelect plugin published in the EW.
I was surprised how many times it was denied, generally for some minor issues (in the sense that they were fairly easy to fix), though I was always able to improve it a bit through the few notes/tips/advices along the reviews (thanks to the team for that).
But for the last issue, I am kind of stuck. Apparently the licence provided for the review doesn’t work: “The license supplied in the testing instructions appears to be invalid”. But it is a universal offline key, not bound to any machine and it always works when I try it, regardless of the setup (first install, unistall, setup alteration, etc.).
I can’t replicate the issue, so, I don’t know how to help the team fix it. How to do in such cases? The review decisions come from a no-reply, so can’t do much with that.
The license key you gave in your last submission was missing a couple of characters. The earlier license works. I let the review team know the correct license key.
Oh really? My bad then, I just reused the one from the last draft and it worked.
I will resubmit then (will include the UI improvement suggestion in follow up releases, as I am a bit tight in time currently).
Hello everyone,
And thank you Colin for helping out on this one.
As @rwamoore suggested, please do feel free to reach out to me directly should you have difficulties getting an extension approved.
