I’ve hit the B key to open my materials palette, but some textures are not showing properly. My own collection shows, window coverings show, but bricks for example show the basic underlying colour for each material, but not the image file. The Textures “in Model” show up properly too.
Any ideas how to fix this - I’m on a fairly new iMac running the latest OS, and using SU Pro 24.0.554
thanks in advance
Paul
Are you using the classic or experimental graphics engine?
You may want to update to 26 and see if it persists. I remember there being issues with M3 chips and graphics in 23 and maybe 24.
You can keep 24 installed - 26 will install in its own location / folder. And you can use the plugin migration tool to speed up the installation process.
I’ve just selected a material from the roofing pallet. it shows as plain dark grey with no roof slate image. I tried to edit it but it won’t edit. I applied it to a surface on my model, it came out plain grey.
I looked in the “colours in Model’ palette but it doesnt seem to have appeared.
just to clarify - In my model does work for me. It’s the standard palettes that come with SU that are only showing background colours. So my Mac seems to be having trouble finding the image texture files….
