None of the materials or textures appear in "home"

Hello,

I’m having an issue with SketchUp 2026 on a Mac M1 Pro running Sonoma.

When I open older SketchUp files in SketchUp 2026, none of the materials or textures appear in the “In Model” materials library. The same thing happens when I import a component from 3D Warehouse: the object may import, but the textures do not show up in my materials panel/library.

So my question is: how can I force SketchUp 2026 to import and display all the textures already used in the model into the “In Model” materials tab?

At the moment, my “In Model” materials section stays empty, even though the model should contain all the materials.

Has anyone seen this on Mac, or knows the correct way to rebuild or refresh the “In Model” materials library?

System:

– SketchUp 2026

– MacBook Pro M1 Pro

– macOS Sonoma

Thank you.

Hello, thank you for your reply.

I did read the post you shared, but I do not think it matches my issue.

My problem is that there are absolutely no materials showing in the Materials library at all, neither in grid view nor in list view.

Thank you very much for taking the time to help. If you have any other idea, I would be very grateful.

Have a good day.

ps form some reason I have 2 files “color in the model” and “color in. the model coy”
