Why display is not working

When I was making my sketchup model, I couldn’t find my model. It was stuck in a far perspective and I couldn’t zoom in, so I did shift z. Why did this make part of my model flash back and forth?

By the way, I am using the sketchup pro trial(2021).

In your profile you say you have no graphics card. I can’t believe that. But many problems like that are related to the graphics card you are using or the way it is set up.

I am using the Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 1536 MB card. However, I don’t think the problem is caused by my computer’s graphics card. other people have opened up my file and have had the same problem.

Share the .skp file so we can see what you’ve got.

How far is the model from the origin? How large is the area covered by the model?

The visual symptoms in your attachment look consistent with a graphics issue, but if other people with different graphics also see the issues that seems less likely. If you can share the model here, we can look at it and see if we can find the cause. If it is smaller than about 10MB you can drag and drop it directly into a forum reply window. If larger, you will need to upload it to a file sharing site, make it public, and provide a link here.

Thank you for your replies! Here is the link to the file

Here, try this, is this all your model.
model1(1)Box.skp (7.0 MB)

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. Can you let me know how you fixed it?

It appears to have moved away from the origin a huge amount, so I selected the geometry with ctrl a and moved it to the origin.

Thank you very much for the help!
