Hello, i was working on a project and this happened I tried pressing K but nothing happened
Looks like a graphics card issue. What is the graphics card in your computer? Your profile says “44 Go” which is not the answer.
You might just close SketchUp and restart your computer to see if that corrects it.
i have a MacBook and I don’t think that I have a graphic card, thanks I’ll try to restart my computer
There must be a graphics card if there’s a display.
I don’t know where the find the graphic card, I tried to restart my computer but it still the same
Click on the apple in the top left corner of the screen. You should be able to open a window that shows you the information about your computer.
Maybe we can see something if you upload the model file or at least confirm that it isn’t the model if that’s the case.
hello, do you have xray active ? go to view > face style and see if it’s checked ? uncheck if it is
Oh thank you I found it
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 Mo
hello, it was unchecked
Great. So please update your profile.
Share the .skp model file so we can see exactly what you’ve got.
The file is too big I can’t share it
Upload it to Drop Box or Google Drive and share the link.
OK. It’s downloading now. I expect the huge size of the file is at least partly to blame for your problems. Back shortly.
Part of your problem comes from having the camera at an extreme distance from the model and set to Parallel Projection. I set it back to Perspective, set the focal length to something reasonable instead of the 10mm that you have and zoomed extents. That fixed the problem with the apparently missing faces.
I also fixed the incorrect tag usage…
…and purged unused stuff from your model…
…which reduced the file size by nearly 96%. It would be a good idea to get in the habit of purging unused stuff and also making groups and components of the geometry you create.
Here’s the file: Dropbox - File Deleted
Thank you so much ^^
You’re welcome.
