Where the SU2017 "Edit in Place" feature?

An ‘unsigned’ or ‘expired-signature’ extension will still load OK - provided that you have your Extensions Setting’s Loading Policy set to the lowest level ‘Unrestricted’.
Of course every Extension needs to be compatible with your current SketchUp version…
Changes in Ruby etc can lead to incompatibilities…
And of course only use Extensions that you download/install from trusted sources - like EWH, SketchUcation.com, Smustard.com and other established authors’ own sites…

@Billy, it’s a known company, so don’t worry about the signed part. Is it working for you?

Have tried to enable and tried all those recommended. Interestingly SU17 does not have the ability to
go to preferences then extensions.

so far have not found a way to enable it.

You have even posted a screenshot from your own computer showing the button for enable.
Once again, in 2017 it has moved slightly to, Window/Extension Manager

You need to look past Window/Preferences and see the new menu item Window/Extension Manager

And most important of all it is showing as enabled in your screenshot.
