When is sketchup 2025 to be launched?

we are all waiting for a new update with positive improvements for the community.

You won’t get an answer from any sketchup employee, by some reason Trimble likes to keep every release like the Manhattan project secrecy level.

What I really care about is support for MacOS Sequioa to support the rest of my work. Apple AI may seem inconsequential to some but for communications and business functions it is really helpful. Of course the hype exceeds the reality at this point.

I hope the next release of SU is better tested than 2024 was. Some had few problems but many seemed to have a lot of crashes, I know I did. It felt like the users were being “used” as beta testers.

They probably don’t have the exact knowledge of when they’ll be able to release it. The philosophy might be: “when we can, we release.”

So…I don’t have a way to test this as I don’t have a Mac - has the Mac material editor been changed so that it matches the PC version in this release?

Nope.

It’s a bit different due to the pbr, but over all it’s still the mac one

Maybe some improvements can be made in the new SU25 update, many people posted thousands of possible improvements that should be worked on and I don’t see any of them mentioned. I know trimble has a trick up his sleeve I hope to see it soon.
