SU Pro 22.0.353 compatibility with MAC OS 15.2.1

Currently running SU Pro 22.1.353 with Mac OS Ventura 13.0 . Want to install Apple ADP which requires updating my iMac to Sequoia OS 12.2.1. Are there significant compatibilty problems with Sketchup/Sequoia while we wait for a Trimble update?

If you are waiting for an update to SketchUp 2022 to support the Mac OS 15, you’ll be waiting a very long time. At this point in time SketchUp 2022 will never receive any more updates. Why not just update to SketchUp 2025?

nope.

at least with sketchup25, the update that was released last week and is fully compatible with sequoia
sketchup 22… chances are, manipulating the material panel will make SU crash. you can thank apple for this one.

2022 will crash in Sonoma or Sequoia, if you resize the Colors palette. Is there a reason you’re staying with 2022?

As a retiree with a fixed income, at a subscription price of over $500 Canadian / year I’ve reached my tipping point. Unless there is a free upgrade from my Sketchup Pro 2022 to 2025 (right now looks like a north-of $250 CDN fee) I will ride this year out in Ventura, then say goodbye to SketchUp after a 25 year relationship.

You have a Pro subscription, that at the moment would renew next March. If you want to not renew then you would need to go into your account settings and turn off auto renew.

If you didn’t intend to start a new Pro subscription today, you would want to contact Support, to ask for a refund. Use this form to do that:

If you do intend to keep the Pro subscription, at least for the next year, you are allowed to download any recent version of SketchUp, you don’t have to stay using 2022. 2025 should work in macOS Ventura, at least better than 2022 does.
