When I rename skb to skp nothing happens + skb files doesn't open kinda urgent

I can’t seem to be able to open my SKB file. I’ve tried to change the extension but windows wouldn’t help it.
Thanks for anyone who’s willing to help
I’ve put the files right here

The file you named TP MAISON.SKB.skp is about 85% filled with zeroes. The other file opened fine after I renamed it to TP MAISON.skp and I get this.

What version of SketchUp are you really using? Your profile says SketchUp for Schools 2024 Desktop. SketchUp for Schools is a web based version for young school children. Are you actually using a cr acked version?

BTW, it would help if you fix incorrect tag usage.

And purge unused stuff from the file. You’re hoard a lot of unused components and materials.

Actually i made a mistake, I’m using sketchup 2024. No I’m not using a cracked version.
There’s a whole part of my work that’s missing and I thought I could retrieve it.

Thanks for the help, I’m gonna work fix the problems you brought up.

Please correct your forum profile.

In addition to saving your files locally you should also regularly save them to your Trimble Connect storage so you have additional backup copies.

Keeping your models clean and streamlined will help to prevent problems as you are working.

As an aside, the file named “TP MASION.SKB.skp” shows that you tried to get the file to open by appending .skp to a .skb file. You shouldn’t need to do that, just replace the .skb with .skp. The reason for the lost work is that an .skb is crreated only when you save an .skp. It always the way the file was when you opened it, before further editing.
