I tried selecting the hardware acceleration again, the entire SU screen turned black again.
No it using MS WIndows software rendering because you’ve switched OFF hardware acceleration.
Try choosing a capability with a lower Anti-aliasing setting but with hardware acceleration ON.
It looks like you have sketchup.exe set on global (auto-select).
Try setting it to always use the high performance Nvidia GPU.
You’ll need to get someone to update your Nvidia driver, then.
Search for the driver for your WIndows version here …
Agreed, you have have a very nice NVidia graphics card which should not give you a black SU workspace - IF SU is indeed using the NVidia card.
Your profile doesn’t mention your Windows version. If you are using Win 10, then r-click on your SU desktop icon. One of the context menu option will let you choose your higher performance graphics for SU from that context menu.
