Maybe it’s a laptop only issue? Both of my setups are desktops.
Nop. I have seen many similar reports on a forum(s) from users using desktop. As someone affected, I have read everything that could be related to this.

Well, by the way, I was also happened to see on the QT forums that the QT version that SU2024 uses did not receive the patch related to this problem.
I guess the starting of development of the new SU main version (which is uses newer QT) “overlapped” by the maintenance releases of SU2024, so it would have been double the work to include new QT in both. This could be a reason not doing more SU2024 maintenance releases…

That makes no sense.
The problem I’m having also occurs on a desktop computer with two screens of the exact same brand.

Understood, just “spitballing” at that point. I have 2 screens at different sizes and resolutions and I cannot replicate the issue. A Dell U3818DW (3840x1600) as screen 1 and a Dell S3219D (2560x1440) as screen 2. I’m sorry that you are having to deal with this.
