The latest version of Sketchup, where the UI was changed to something non-native to Windows, has serious issues. When I want to add a location, the window gets stuck behind the main windows so you get completely stuck. Another annoying issue is that when using 2 screens, a menu click on one screens opens the menu on the other screen, even when the windows is maximized or smaller.
The screenshot you are showing may be from SketchUp 2023, which is when the UI did change. There has been 2024 and 2025 since then, which included some fixes for problems where the menu appeared on the wrong monitor.
Is there a reason you can’t update to SketchUp 2025?
No, that doesn’t do anything
It’s not Sketchup 2023, it’s 2024. It’s a company license so not sure how and if I can update to 2025. Although if you’re not familiar with the issue, I doubt that updating fixes it.
Some fixes were in 2024, more were in 2025.
Most companies have a subscription, if that’s what you have, you could download and install SketchUp 2025 from here:
it was a famous bug of 2024, it was fixed in 2025.
Dezmo can confirm, it prevented him to use 2024.
QT is native to windows.
