URGENT HELP PLEASE Sketchup super laggy - Assignment due

Hi,

I had this issue for a while, did not manage to reach any help from Sketup support.

Device:
MacOS 16 GB Sequoia 15.5
Apple M2 Chip

Sketchup Pro 2026

Problem: The navigation is very slow, it keeps freezing, the loading wheel on the mouse pops up every few minutes and won’t dissapear for 20 minutes at a time. It’s almost impossible to work with.

I reinstalled my entire laptop, updated the OS and it feels like it’s even worse than it was before.

Suggestions?

it’s likely your file, and you need to share it. and you’ll say “the forum says it’s too big” therefore you need to share it using stuff like wetransfer and post the link here
