I need to make a new scene. When I do I get a window that says,
“Unsaved Style Changes
There are unsaved changes to the current style.
Please save, duplicate or revert the unsaved changes in the Styles panel.”
With the options: Cancel, Revert or Save.
When I click on any option the app freezes, window goes completely white and I have to refresh. If I go Style > New Style I get this same window with the same results. Has anyone found a workaround?!
What changes have you made to the style? What happens if you update the style? Download the .skp file to your computer and share it so we can see what you’ve got and see if we get the same result.
What browser are you using? Are you using a trial version? SketchUp Free doesn’t allow editing styles but SketchUp Go does.
Thanks for getting back to me. I have not edited the style at all; I don’t even know how to or what it is, so I don’t understand why the pop-up is happening. I’m going through one of SU’s tutorials, and hitting this bug? following their steps. (It’s the 4th step in the whole class so it’s nothing more than setup at this point.)
I just retried it for maybe the 15th time and it worked. FWIW I’m on the latest chrome, SU Go/Paid Web, two tabs, inet is fine.
Should I delete this post since it is obsolete?
That’s good. It would have been interesting to see the file before you got it to work. I guess if it happens again stop and save the file and then upload it here so we have some hope of helping you figure out what was going on.
Please update your forum profile since it’s not SketchUp Free. That information matters.
Can’t delete it but you can mark it solved. Although it’s not a real solution your previous post apparent’y has the solution.
