When exploding a viewport it turns into a “scaled drawing” in correct scale but always with units set to “Architectural - Inches”. This applies no matter if the units format in LayOut (and SketchUp) is e.g. set to “Decimal - millimeters”.
Please correct this so the units format in a “scaled drawing” that originates from an exploded viewport inherits the LayOut document’s units setting.
I’m also seeing this behavior as a visitor, and I agree that it would be much more convenient if the exploded viewport inherited the document’s current unit settings. Having it default to Architectural – Inches regardless of the LayOut settings is a bit confusing, especially when working with metric documents.
And it is a bit odd, as maybe at least 85% of SketchUp users use metric units. Imperialistic units, though, are what Sketchup uses behind the scenes.
