Hello, the problem occurs when I try to use bright colors to differentiate a complex model and then completely replace the material using Vray’s selection feature. Because it took too long, I tried to close the SKP file and an unexpected format prompt appeared. And the same situation occurs after modifying the SKB file suffix. I even tried restoring an earlier version of the file elsewhere, but again couldn’t open it. Can you help me retrieve my files? This is very important to me. (PS: I am using the Pro version of 2023)

Install the latest version of SketchUp 2023 and you should be able to open your file. There are some bad components identified during opening.
I also see a lot of incorrect tag usage.
And you’re hoarding unused stuff that should be purged.
Some excessively large textures, too.
Cleaning up the model should help your situation.

Can somebody help with this file. I can’t suceed to open it.

What version of SketchUp are you using? Your forum profile says “Free Plan” 2024. Does that mean it’s cracked?
Where have you been saving the file while you were working on it? The file is missing important data. Do you have the .skb backup file?
The file was created by one of my collegues but he left our project. I install sketch up 2024 Trial version with hope that will fix the file. I think he saved on external hdd initialy but i’m not sure.
Here it is the back up file but he gives the same message.
