Whenever one of our students goes to login to Sketchup for schools by going to SketchUp they get a message that your school may not have access to it, to get access follow the 3 easy steps.
I am a super admin in google and have gone through the steps, the app is approved for our whole organization, all permissions are granted, but the student cant login. Our domain is Nisdtx.org and student . nisdtx . org for students.
Hi everyone, thanks for the posts and sorry for the delays in my reply. I am happy to try and get your issue resolved. To get things started, I’ll need some informationfrom both of you. First off, I’ll need to know if you are using Google or Microsoft to deploy the app. I’ll also need to know your domain and if you are a k-12 school or are higher education school.
Anyway, let me know what I need and I’ll get you taken care of right away.
Thanks for the replies @MarcusNISD and @m.blake. I was able to get you both added to our database of domains so you should be all set to go now if that was the issue.
I must say however, it is quite odd that you would lose access unless something changed and to my knowlege, we did not deploy anything new to the app on Friday so I am guessing something on your end may have changed. If either of you are still seeing an error, can you get me a screenshot of the console tab in developer mode when the error pops up? I can usually get more info from that.
Thanks for the question @m.blake! I am honestly not sure what might have changed to cause it to stop on Friday. I am glad it is working again though. I will keep an eye on this going forward to see if I can figure this out and will double check a few things just to be sure that we did not push an update to our firewall settings that may have caused it. I will also check if Google pushed an update as that may have had an effect.
