Thanks pbacot , thinking about it I think vanities go back to an era before bathrooms (even the master bath) became the size of some small houses. Gave the lady of the house her “place” to do what ladies do….

Well for better or worse I got my lizard monster thing in a scene and rendered ! Raw SU view and the render. Rendered in Twilight, post-pro in Affinity Photo.

Did some messing about with textures, lighting, added a few details and moved a few things a bit. Like this render better than the first one. A little creepier looking I think ![]()
Finally got my SubD bug monster thing rendered up. Rendered in Twilight and post pro in Affinity Photo. Got a little jazzy on the post pro side…. Posting two versions. Not sure which one I like better.

What a dream shop!
More like a shop in your nightmares ![]()
Robert , I have no idea what the film clip you posted is from. I guess I need to get out more. I’m interpreting it that you like the last image I posted.

Oh, yes! Princes Bride. Sorry, I assumed everyone knows that one. The count is asking Prince Humperdinck to come down and watch him work in his torture dungeon, but the prince is just too busy. Actually, the torture chamber machine invented for that movie would make a good SketchUp model project.
Now I get it. My excuse is “Princes Bride” was never on my must see list !

Never seen The Princess Bride? Inconceivable.
Never heard of it!
The FIRST Robotics team I work with has used Princess Bride themes for a long time. This years robot was called The Machine. ![]()
