Trying to render a high quality image, but getting HUGE amount of noise

Dear Sketchup Community,

I am trying to render a high quality image, but am getting an unbelievable amount of noise.
My scene is well-lit. It is not composed of many materials, and no crazy materials.

I have attached a screenshot of my V-Ray settings, which are set to:

RENDER- progressive off

RENDER PARAMETERS- noise limit .004, bucket size 24 (my computer is old I want to keep it easy for it)

DENOISER- V-ray Denoiser, Preset= Default

I’m uploading a dining2.jpg so you can see the noisey image quality
The Sketchup file is Set_design, I’m rendering scene 2

Does anyone know what I can do do get it to look better quality?

Thank you for your time,

Savannah

You said your Progressive setting is ‘off’…but in the screenshot of your settings it is set to ‘on’. Try again with it Off as this will kick in Denoiser and should resolve.

I started another one with Progressive off, but honestly, I think I just uploaded the wrong screenshot… My brain is messed up from trying to get this to work for too long before asking for help.
But anyway, I’m running it right now. I will let it render for a while. I would love it if it would turn out nicely just the way I have it, with progressive off.

Your white material (standard material) is too white (RGB 255,255,255). You need to stay within realistic values, which means never use RGB values over maybe 230-235. Higher values will generate exessive noise and less contrast.
