Troubleshooting disappeared floor plan

I was hoping someone could help me with my file. I am new to sketchup. I downloaded a 2D furniture plan from the 3D warehouse. I then realized that my floor plan had disappeared so I went and indid some steps. After much research and on my zoom extent I realized that my file is waaaaay zoomed out. I have a few other axes I can see but when I delete them I still can’t see my floor plan. I also don’t want to mistakenly delete my floor plan

And help would be greatly appreciated!

Sharing your model is more helpful than a photo of your monitor…

I selected all in the model and made a group. This shows the overall dimensions in meters.

You’ve got things spread out across the universe. Since they are spread out and aren’t that large, it’s not surprising that things are not visible. I’ll see if I can fix that.

Thank you so much Dave! That would be really helpful. I am not sure how that happened

I’m not exactly sure how you did it either but I suspect part of the issue stems from working in Parallel Projection. You’ll need to move the door swing components into place.

Something was messed up beyond what my usual recovery could fix, but then saving and reopening the file restored sanity:

Edit: PS I agree with @DaveR that parallel projection should be reserved for traditional presentation of the completed model; model building should be done in perspective. There are issues with camera placement that parallel is inherently prone to.

Thank you so so much to both of you! I will work in perspective moving forward.
