I just updated to SketchUp 2026for Mac. I had been unable to use 3d warehouse on 2023. When I download a component into my model I get 2 models. even if I explode the models I can’t separate the 2 versions of the same model.

well it depends on the model. can you share us a link to it ? or download it and share the file here ?
some models contain only one object. some models contain many. maybe you’ve downloaded a model that contains two ? or you’ve accidentally duplicated it ? hard to say with the info you’re giving 
I tried downloading about 4 different models. All were of drum kits with a number of drums and other things. All of them uploaded with the model and the exact same model looking greyed out below the first model. When I went to edit it said component - 2 in model.
Give us an exact title for the drum kit that shows this so we can try it and see what we get.

Well, I just went to look for the models and tried uploading and this time it downloaded as one model. So I’m good. But thanks for the assistance.
