Trouble reactivating sketchup pro 2016

I am a retired Sketchup Pro user. I purchased a license for Sketchup Pro quite some time ago and upgraded it annually through 2016. Since then, I use it occasionally on only one machine. I have a new computer and am trying to activate SketchUp pro 2016 and it is not working.

I had it installed on this laptop about a year ago. I had trouble with the computer and it was repaired by Dell. In the past, I learned that I need to deactivate my SketchUp before I decommission my old machine, so I did that before I sent my machine for repair. I also checked that it was not installed before I reinstalled Windows 11 Pro on my laptop. I reinstalled SketchUp pro 2016 from an exe file that I have saved. I have also saved my serial number and activation code to a word document. I copied and pasted them into the license screen fields. Then I hit the red activate button, but nothing happens.

I can open SketchUp Pro and functions for now, but shows that I am on a 30day trial.

I have used this procedure multiple times in the past with success, however, this time it does not seem to be working.
