Trouble Joining Lines for Uniformity

Hi All,

First of I would like to thank all those who have taken the time to provide advice to “newbies”

I am currently designing sunglasses which is my trade however I have ran into issues with multiple lines due to the complexity of the shape. Can anyone help me figure out how to “so called” smooth the lines out so that it the design is one complete shape??

Hello. Can you share a screenshot or your model, so we can have a look and a better understanding?

Hi Vahe,

Thank you for your quick response.

Please see screenshot…

I want it all to be a uniform shape so that I can continue building upon it.

Kind regards,

Applying the ‘Eraser’ tool on edges while holding down [Ctrl] will smooth these edges out although it only visually makes your object “less complex”. All the geometry will still be there.
So, as @VahePaulman suggested, could you share a screenshot or the skp file?

edit: Thanks for the screenshot. Use ‘Eraser’ + [Ctrl].

I can provide the SKP file, please let me know your email address so that I can send it.

Just attach the .skp here the same way you did the screenshot.

If the top faces are coplanar, you could just erase common edges without loosing the entire face.
Same applies to other sides of your object.

Right click on a white face (front face) and select ‘Orient Faces’ in the context menu to have only front faces on the outside.

Hey Box just uploaded the SKP

Thank you for your help.

Hi Vahe,

Please see attached SKP.

Thank you for your help in this matter and look forward for some advice.

Please bear in mind that this particular design is quite private.

Kindest regards,

Eddy
