Am I being a bit thick or is there another way to drag toolbar icons to custom toolbars?!
You can move the little floating ones you have there and dock them into the top/side of the screen
more precisely:
top/bottom/left/right side of the screen into several rows / columns …
Sorry I should have been clearer… I want to make toolbars and drag the icons to, for instance, a single mindsight toolbar
You can create your own Toolbar by New… button, then drag and drop (move or copy with Ctrl button down) the icons from the NATIVE toolbars only.

How do you drag and drop in SketchUp 2017? Nothing is happening when I try to drag an icon from the Large Toolbar to a new toolbar.
Thanks, but its the multitude of Plugin icons I want to organize!
And what’s holding you back?
I was closing the dialog box and then trying to add the icons. Thanks, keeping the dialog box open works just fine.
The drag/drop method doesn’t work with plugins
True. That’s why he wrote:
And offered you the Toolbar Editor extension for the rest.
Apologies @dezmo I assumed you were replying to me. I tried the Toolbar Editor and it works fantastically.
