Help me figure it out. Sketchup 2025, a library Libfredo6 V15.4A and Jointpushpull_v4.9a (Also with curviloft) was installed. When starting, I see a plug -in loading error, all versions are the latest and compatible. What is the problem? Thank you.
From what see, LibFredo6 is not the latest version installed on your end. I’d start by uninstalling the old extensions and installing the new ones.
Yes, I also paid attention to this, but it is downloaded C SketchUp Plugins | PluginStore | SketchUcation
You can see the installed version in the toolbar: Extensions- Extension Manager (something like that).
I’m on phone, found a reference image from the internet.
That’s right, version 1.0 is indicated there, but why so, if the version of Libfredo6 V15.4A is downloaded from the official website. Maybe someone came across?
And after you restarted SU, does it still show the old version? Are the extensions working properly now?
If not, I suggest going to Window > LibFredo6 Settings > Check LibFredo6 for update
.
If the extensions don’t show up in green, update the old ones and see if they start working.
After installing Libfredo6_v15.4a.rbz, in the extension manager, it is displayed as version 1.0, on the window tab, the plugin is not displayed at all. I tried to reinstall it several times. And the same situation was on last versions of Sketchup
P.S. только что установил на другой компьютер, все нормально. Переустановка sketchup не помогла
Did you install SketchUp 2025 correctly? That requires right clicking on the downloaded installer and selecting Run as administrator.
Yes, the installation is always carried out on behalf of the administrator
That’s not the same as being signed into Windows with your user and then right clicking on the installer and selecting Run as administrator.
Did you use the Sketchucation ExtensionStore tool to install LibFredo6 and Joint Push/Pull? Did you close and restart SketchUp after installing them with the Sketchucation ExtensionStore tool?

Sketchucation ExtensionStore

Yes, I used the Sketchucation ExtensionStore, yes, I always start the installation from the administrator’s account, first back: starting on behalf of the administrator, yes, I once again removed the sketch, cleaning the registry from the residues, rebooted the computer and re -installed the sketch. He installed Libfredo6 again rebooted the sketch and there is still an error.
I downloaded and installed another Sketchup distribution - the problem did not leave. Now I realized that the problem is not precisely in Libfredo6, but with some regular plugins, for example: dynamic components, sandbox tools. Apparently the problem or in the gland or operating system
You must log in to Windows with the user account you want to use Sketchup with.
This user may have admin rights, but it does not matter.
Download the installer exe file from here: Download All | SketchUp | SketchUp
Currently SketchUp-2025-0-660-288.exe
is the latest installer for Windows.
Usually you can locate it in a File Explorer in your Downloads folder.
Right-click on this file and select Run as administrator.
You may see a security prompt (User Account Control panel) and will need permission for the installer to make changes to your computer. You may need to give admin credentials - admin user name and password - and click on yes to proceed with the installation.
If the similar main version of SketchUp is already installed you can choose Repair option in a next window.
This is the right way to install SketchUp on Windows.
