Trying to figure out why my texture is being added to my object sideways? I initially imported the texture vertically with the plan to rotate it, but could not rotate it on the curved surfaces. So I rotated the original jpg, but when I apply it to the object it still applies it vertically. Any ideas?
There are different ways to do it, the native way is by applying as a projected texture but if you want better results plug-ins like thrupaint or WrapR are better for UV mapping.

I did a model using quadfaces and sub D, Thye first one is the low poly model the other two are already subdivided, they have different materials, Though is the same with different names, but the second one is optimized for Vray and the last one for Enscape.
