For the 2016 version, use the apropriate folder:
C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2016
If you have version 2018 installed, you need a 2018 license:
The serial number starts with a ‘T’
Thanks for the reply. We are not using a network license. Just a local license for K12 to make it free:
I manually used it on a couple desktops and it worked fine. Was trying to use the process as stated in the link. Was also attempting to create a sccm app batch file to place that txt file in the appropriate folder, but no go.
The most commonly made ‘mistake’ is that the txt file gets another extension added by the editor software e.g.
activation_info.txt.txt
