I want to model a terrain, but when I compared the Google Earth Pro terrain satellite view with that available in sketchup, I realized that there is a slight difference, most likely because the images were taken at different times. My question is: can I model the terrain in sketchup and then take a print of the google image and paste it into the terrain so that the print follows the terrain?
Yes. Use google image as “projected”.
Oh yeah. I will try this. And how do I edit texture transparency so I can see it in the terrain below?
in the materials box, change the transparency slider
