I had drawn a model in sketch. I save the model and imported it to Layout. I saved the layout file. I then updated the sketch file and saved it to a different file name. So now I have to files for the same project. One is just updated. When I open the layout file it won’t let me reference the updated file. If it did then I would have edited the LO file and saved it with an updated name. this gives me two layout files. Is there a way I can reference the new sketchup file with the old layout file? Thanks in advance
So let me be more clear. The original Sketchup file was called Model #1. The original Layout file was called LO #1. When I updated the Sketchup file I saved it as Model #2. When I open LO #1 it won’t let me reference SU Model #2.
Is there a way I can reference SU Model #2 in LO #1 and then update LO #1 as LO #2
I do this so I can keep records of all my past and present updates. Thanks.
So you can’t relink the SketchUp file to SU Model #2 in Document Setup?
Keep in mind that any overrides you might have made to viewports in LayOut will prevent those properties from changing after you relink.
This is still in SU/LO2025?
