2022 SU Pro freezes when i orbit/zoom, not every time but every 5-10 minutes. No error is returned, i just get a non-responding SU process in Activity Monitor. No bugsplat.
Please advise.

Is it autosaving a large project file?

I’m working on a really small project, so that’s not the case.
I tried disabling auto-save, but with the same results.
It’s generally moving really fast, except when this situation occurs.

You should attach your model so it can be checked to rule it out as the issue.
I’m getting the same thing. MBPro M3 Max. Imported from Revit. Not a CPU or memory issues. SU is still responsive but the file itself won’t pan or tilt. File attached.
Wrong thread. This one is about M1 freezing in sketchup 2022 2 years ago.
there are more fresh cases of M3 freezing in SU24 like you over here.
You can send stuff to barry, crash reports mac or sketchup.
by the way, in your profile, your OS is not MacOS M3. it’s (likely) mac os Sonoma 14.

Thanks! My fix was to do it in Windows VMware on a Mac Mini with Intel. Sad that its both slower and faster…
