SU Licenses

Hi Colin

I’m having the same issue again in signing in to SU at work and it saying I have exceeded my allowed activations. I know the program is open at home, so that would be just 2 sign in’s (home and trying now at work).

Any chance you can help? I REALLY need to sign on to get something done today.

I’ve tried going to Go menu and deleting login data, but this did not work.

Thanks

Each version of SketchUp you are signed in on counts against your allowed 2 sign ins. You could either check to make sure you’re signed out from other versions on the machine you are on now, or you can do the deauthorize all devices steps, then sign out and sign in again.

If you do that, when you get home you would need to sign out and in again, for that to become your second sign in.

Hi Colin

Thanks for the quick reply. When you say “deauthorize” do you mean “remove seats”?

Can you give me clear instructions on how to do this AND what to do after deauthorizing?

Thank you

Sign into this page:

On the left, look for My Products, and to the right of that you should see your SketchUp Pro subscription.

Click the View Included Applications text, and then in the box that appears for SketchUp Pro, click on Manage Devices.

Confirm that you want to deauthorize all devices.

Thanks for taking the time to explain. All good and now I can reference info this in future.

Late to discussion, but this seems to be the most recent covering this topic. Wondering if there is any less clunky way of switching between devices for people with a single licence?

Well your licence can be activated on a pair of devices.

So a person with a licence should be able to use both their machines.
