Anssi, can I ask what the advantage of setting the screen res to low is? I use a 5k Mac, I’ve altered screen res for other applications (auto cad 16 before they fixed the palette bug in 17), but it messes up every other application. The work around was to constantly reset the res each time I used AC 16, but it was a bit tedious (I just used keyboard commands in the end, the buttons were so small at 5k they were un-readable for me). The other issue, Layout is essentially a presentation tool, being able to see what the printed version will look like on the fly, I find, is helpful.
I was referring to the display quality setting in LayOut (document setup), not your computer’s screen resolution. Using low makes the lauout display respond faster.
