Students unable to login -Google Education accounts

I am hoping I am just missing something. Our students were able to sign in with no trouble in June. Now as they return to school they cannot sign in. Our domain ncsuvt.org should be whitelisted I think if we were accessing before. Staff can access with no problem. The students are on Chromebooks that are on the latest OS. They are either stuck in a sign in loop or they receive a dialog box that tells them to see their admin. We have checked all of the settings but must be missing something. I have even removed and reinstalled the app. This is what the students see. Thank you for any help.

Thanks for the post @aime.forbes and sorry to hear that your students are having difficulty logging in to SketchUp for Schools. I am happy to work with you to get the issue resolved. I just added you to our database a few minutes ago so go ahead and give logging in a try using Google Chrome. If it works, then we are all set. If it does not, then please open the developer mode console and grab a screenshot of it. Then, share that screenshot with me. I may be able to get the issue solved based on the info from that.

Did they get a little ‘popups blocked’ notification on the right side of the address bar? Accepting popups should allow the SSO to work properly.

Hi @CaseyG we are experiencing the same issue. Our staff domain is sau88.net and our students are edu.sau88.net. I’ve enabled popups and still cannot login. Getting stuck in the login loop and seeing the exact message as above.

Hi @kjones, thanks for the post. I am happy to work with you to get you added to the database. I just need to know if you are using Microsoft or Google to deploy the app. I was already able to verify everything else via your website so we are almost ready to go. Just reply when you get a chance and let me know what I need.

Did you try to do the recommended actions on the error message? Are you still having issues?
Are you using Microsoft or google login?

Thanks for the @ command to get my attention. I just got into the office and based on what I am seeing in the screenshot, I would recommend following the directions outlined in the error message to see if that fixes it or not. If it does, then you are all set but if it does not, can you take a screenshot of the developer mode console when the error is shown? That may have some additional information I cau use to diagnose the issue. Also, are you using Google or Microsoft to deploy the app? Finally, is this error specific to onny a few accounts or is it domain wide?

Can you verify that you are using Google to deploy the app and that you deployed the app via a super admin account? Knowing this will narrow things down on my end and help to get you up and running faster.

If you are sure you deployed the app via a super admin and that you followed all the steps, can you take a screenshot of the developer mode console in Chrome when you try to open the app?
