Strange lines artifacts on 2025

Since I’ve been using version 2025, strange artifacts have appeared on the lines.
On all models and files.
These artifacts are not present in previous versions of sketchup. Regardless of the engine used.

These are partial line splits. This is NOT classic alliasing.

Please don’t tell me “it’s alliasing, it’s normal because the view is not aligned with the model”.

It’s really a question of line artifacts that are probably linked to alliasing management. But this is not a “normal” display of alliased lines.

To put it simply, these artifacts appear randomly in various parts of the model and are not consistent with the viewing angle. It’s not a classic staircase effect, but a line that’s split into 2 thin lines.

(You need to “open” the images to see the artifacts correctly.)

Just some dumb remarks:
You seem to have Ambient Occlusion turned on. What if you turn it off?
Are the lines you highlight attached to faces, or standalone?

Share the model.

I am also seeing strange lines artifacts like you on Sketchup Desktop 2025.

My Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 Ti

I use Two Widescreen LG monitors: LG - UltraGear 32” Nano IPS QHD 1-ms G-SYNC Compatible Monitor with HDR - Black

This line artifacs appear with an without AO… Need to double check to cormfirm.

I can see them with or without AO turned on.
And I can also see a strange red vertical line popping out randomly with or without AO.
Along the tray on the right.
This flashing red line lengthens and shortens randomly as the camera moves.

It happens on every single model.
Old or new.

I’m also on dual screen…

Have you tried updating your Nvidia driver from the Nvidia website?

I’m always up to date on drivers and versions.
Alas, it seems that the latest Nvidia drivers are really full of problems.
I went back to the last version which had no major problems. Which is version 566.36.
It seems to me that for the moment the artifacts have disappeared.
