Hello SketchUp community, SketchUp 2025 seems to have introduced unnecessary lines or graphical glitches in the drawings. Is there a way to disable this? Has anyone else experienced the same issue? I’ve attached two images—one from 2024 and one from 2025 for reference.
There was a problem attaching the image, because you’re a new user. Can you try now? Images should attach ok.
Hey! I just reuploaded the images. You’ll see that in the 2025 version, there are glitches all over the model. Even when I’m just doing floor planning, the weird lines make it look like things aren’t aligned—really distracting. It’s frustrating and kind of a deal breaker. Hoping SketchUp sends out a fix soon!
Have you tried to upload the model?
I’m having issues with sketchup 2025, mostly constant crashes. After sending the bugsplat I get the bugsplat info on the web browser and it says that Nvidia gpu’s are having issues with sketchup 2025. Changing to the old graphics engine reduces the crashes but it still crashes every now and then.
There’s nothing wrong with my file—any file I create displays the same glitches. Here is another illustration; nearly every line is affected.
I mean that’s anti-aliasing for you. if your lines were perfectly aligned (top view in parallel), many would just be a single pixel thick.
but on the images you’re showing, all the lines are slightly angled (perspective + not a top view) therefore yeah, they can’t be displayed as a line of pixels. you’ll see the steps.
maybe in the graphics panel you could tweak the anti aliasing parameters ?
I’ve already tried different views and camera angles, but the glitches persist regardless. Switching to the Classic Engine resolved the issue.
